About the Soapbox

This site is my little place on the Internet. As such it is filled with my thoughts and views, and as such may not be compatible with rational or popular thought.  I hope that some of the information presented here over time may be useful.  Furthermore I hope that some of the things you read leads you to ponder both politics, theology and BMC in such a way to bring you around to my way of thinking.

May the persuasion begin.

The title: The Saintly Soapbox? Well as anyone who has heard one of my irrational diatribes will know, I love to get up on my soapbox and pontificate about how things should be. And I certainly don’t consider myself a Saint but I must say my favourite character is Simon Templar (aka The Saint). A great character created by Leslie Charteris in many books and immortalised for me by Roger Moore in the 1960’s TV series The Saint.

The symbol of the Saint is a classic little stick man with a halo:

To learn about The Saint visit The Saintly Bible, a wonderful web site with a lot of Saintly information.
