My mighty R65LS

The other day I was over at Kiribilli and saw a wonderful view.  I just had to place my BMW R65LS in the foreground and take some shots.  All I had was the trusty iPhone, so the photos are OK. But the BMW seemed right at home with the fine scenery.

And here is another shot of the bike:

Here the R65LS has the Harbour Bridge in the background. Shows off the triangular pod fairing on the LS nicely.

And finally here is my bike dwarfing an ocean liner:

Old Bean: nice LS. Nice context. I have owned an”82 LS for many years. Rode it all over the U.S. and Baja California. For 3 years my wife and I two-upped it the length and breadth of California, carrying full camping gear, a full kitchen, water, food, spare parts and tools. The bike has morphed, and now sports an 800 CC motor, wire wheels and dual sport tires, to mention a few of many changes. There is no way to attach a picture here, but if you would like to see it, let me know, eh? Regards, John. San Francisco

Beautiful shots of a beautiful bike and location! I also own a silver R65LS (a 1982 model) and love it dearly. It’s a real attention getter and handles like it’s on rails. Are you an online member of the R65.org forum yet? We have several members from OZ and would like to have you join our online blogs and diatribes about our R65s.
